AIP's Electronic Physics Auxiliary Publication Service (EPAPS) is primarily a depository for material that is a part of and supplementary to papers published in APS or other AIP-member-society and AIP-owned journals, but which is of too limited reader interest to warrant the number of pages required to publish in full in the journal. As an electronic depository, it can also include material not suitable for the printed journal (e.g., movies). Materials are accessed by users via hyperlinks from the online journals or via the EPAPS website (http://www.aip.org/pubservs/epaps.html).
There is a one time minimum fee of $50 per deposit, which includes up to 20 MB of disk storage space, with an additional charge of $0.75/MB for additional disk storage space. Retrieval of EPAPS deposits is free of charge.
EPAPS charges will be included on the same invoice with reprint and publication charges. Purchase Order invoices for reprints/publication charges should include the EPAPS charge.
NOTE: AIP DOES NOT PROVIDE USER SUPPORT FOR THE CONTENT OF ANY MATERIAL DEPOSITED ELECTRONICALLY. Users are referred to the authors for assistance with utilizing the materials.
The author expressly authorizes AIP and its agents to reprint, publish, copy, translate, vend, or otherwise supply copies or derivations of the enclosed material to anyone, upon request, and warrants that (1) he or she is the copyright holder or an authorized agent of the copyright holder, or (2) if not the copyright holder or an agent thereof, he or she attaches hereto the authorization of the copyright holder.
Please accept the accompanying material for deposit with the Electronic Physics Auxiliary Publication Service (EPAPS) of the American Institute of Physics.
By signing this Agreement, the author indicates that he/she is aware of the procedures and obligations involved in the depositing of EPAPS files.
